Course Fees

There are no tuition fees for EU nationals in St Fanahan’s College as all our courses are funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan 2007-2013. However, students are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of €50. While there are no tuition fees students are required to pay examination fees. FETAC examination fees will be indicated to you by the college in February. Fees have been set by FETAC as follows.

1 module - €10
2 modules - €20
3 modules - €30
4 modules - €40
5 modules and over - €50
(The above fees are subject to change)

Medical card holders and those in receipt of Social Welfare may be exempt from FETAC examination fees.

Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) Grant

Students following a full time FETAC course in St Fanahan’s College are entitled to apply for PLC grant aid. To qualify for one of these grants students will be means tested and their final grant award will depend on the distance they need to travel from their place of residence to the college.
